Massage

Clinical Massage is evidence-based manual therapy focused on functional outcomes.

Clinical Massage improves the recovery process by addressing problematic areas inhibiting the proper function of joints, muscles and movement. Clinical Massage can help with rehabilitation and regaining full range of motion. Unlike a spa massage for relaxation purposes, Clinical Massage is focused on functional outcomes, improving the healing process and relieving pain and tension. It is part of a complete rehabilitative process, and augments Physical Therapy and other therapeutic modalities. Often myofascial release or trigger point therapy will be used, as well as structural integration and movement education. While the focus is rehabilitative in nature, clinical massage definitely provides stress reduction and relaxation.
